A quick glance at the gallery below illustrates my interest in photographing flora—the immense diversity in color, form, and size that is seen among even closely related species. Even the most common plant, when viewed in close-up, often isolated from its surroundings, gives us a new appreciation for the beauty of its design. Whether a cherry tree, a cactus, or a rose, each is defined by its microscopic parts. I delight in providing the viewer with a new perspective that can reveal this diversity.
